It works!

Ah! See that? There is my new computer, all built, standing vertically in working order. I'm going to say it first: the process was really annoying. First day, I felt overwhelmed and confused. It was just really high stress because I had no idea what I was doing. On top of that, my electrical knowledge is fairly weak so I was getting lost on the terminology very often. It seems like I was only partially prepared. I had studied the parts I wanted, but not the assembling process, and I regret not being prepared. It was just really stressful for me. I was on 2 days without a shower and didn't eat much in scorching 95 degree weather. Later on at night, some power cords were placed improperly and it fried my power button when I tried to power on the system. Damn, I hardly got any sleep after that.
The Power Button won't press down anymore.

Thankfully, Mgamerz was on Skype with me to assist me with my paranoia and lack of knowledge in building computers. Today, I almost fried my motherboard connecting the wrong cable again which thanks to the anti-surge on the mobo, nothing terrible happened. In fact, he helped me wire the function of the restart button (which I didn't even know existed) to start the computer. Finally, I managed to finish the computer today and finally booted and ran Windows 7 flawlessly. From what I saw, the initial experience felt really snappy. I wouldn't be too surprised to find out that it's faster than my old build in every single way. I just know I'm going to enjoy this new computer. It will replace my old computer later tonight where I can start download things through the wired Internet and enjoy it in glorious High Definition.

For comparisons, here are the specs of the two computers. I'm taking a huge jump in computing power.

Old:
Windows XP SP3
AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @2.2GHz
2GB DDR
160GB 7200rpm Hard Drive
250 watts power
NVIDIA GeForce 6200 256MB

New:
Windows 7 SP1
Intel Core i5 2500k @3.3GHz
8GB DDR3
1TB 7200rpm Hard Drive
550 watts power
NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 1GB
