Probably last boss art...


If you check the TREZ Gallery I've added larger versions of Black Ace and Red Joker finalized forms. However I also added what could be the last boss art, transparent that is. Not in the boss section but it will appear at the Megaman Home Page soon. It's part of the "customizing your experience" part.
I knew that more large "uncut" art wouldn't be coming out so as of now, the TREZ Gallery is probably the only way to get decent boss art for MMSF3.

Megaman Star Force 3 ships



Well my countdown stopped and the game is officially distributed to stores. It's such a shame that DS piracy has gotten so out of hand that rom dumps becoming available before the ship date happens. It's just disappointing seeing how these people have become psychologically corrupt as well as their greedy audience.

But anyways, it's the ship date so obviously I don't have the game yet. I'll have it tomorrow for sure and then the real fun begins!

about the new EXE game...

People are speculating that the game will be a remake of a previous BN game. While this does sound interesting, there is still a matter of the gameplay. I predict that this would be the perfect time for a game with full 3D graphics like most DS games now days. So then how would battles function? I think it won't be either BN's field or SF's.

Take a look at the 3D battlefield that was made for BN5DS but never used.

If the battles were BN in 3D then which angle would the stage have to be in to play? Remember that the GBA BN games used a perspective that would be impossible in 3D. That would mean any of those stage angles could be used for the game. I hope neither of them get picked because something new could be made that could be better than what we know now.

Watched Transformers 2



I finally got to watch it and I was amazed. It's quite a spectacular movie and has a runtime of over 2 hours. Personally, I felt like this movie felt a lot like a sequel, which is good. It seems much more action packed compared to the first movie. Plus, this one was a lot funnier. I noticed the audience laughing several times. I think it was mostly because of that latino actor, Leo in the movie. The movie did really well in humor, action and story. That's what I like about a sequel, the story takes a shift.

The only thing that bothered me was I kept imagining what this movie would look like in IMAX. This movie wasn't in IMAX anywhere near so I couldn't go. Such a shame because I really wanted to try it.

MMSF3 Demo on Nintendo Channel

The Nintendo Channel has a demo of Megaman Star Force 3 for play on the DS. If you have a Wii and a DS go play it because the demo expires next week. At least I finally got to play it.

I've played it many times. I figured out that Impact Cannon, Big Bomb, and Giant Axe can be made. As long as the cards are there the new card can be formed. So they can be grayed out or dimmed but still usable.
For Giant Axe, you need Sword, Wide Sword, and Long Sword. For Impact Cannon, you need 3 Cannons. For Big Bomb you need 3 Mini Grenades.

Ep9: Day 3

Today there is no sneak peak screenshot. It may seem like not much progress was made, but I think I'm about halfway done. If everything plays out alright tomorrow, I might be making the video on Monday and have it on Youtube by nighttime. So far, so good. :)

Contest Navis were used but I'll say this. I modified the moves. Some moves were incompatible when I tried them, but the concept stayed the same. The 3 contest participants will get credit at the end and in the credits.

And did you see? MMSF3 in 10 days!

I finished! All the recording is done and now I just have to put together the actual video.

Episode 9 progress

I think today was slower in progress. I stumped on a map importing part and had to restrict it. Not as much progress as yesterday but tomorrow might hold more progress. I'm getting close to the more consecutive part. I might finish by Monday. It seems likely.

MMSF3 Event Card Distribution

Just a small tidbit of information I was able to pick up. It appears that the cards "AcidArrest" and "CrimsonMeteor"(show two posts ago) will be distributed via DS Download Station. No exact date was specified, but it will happen in the future.

Still working on Episode 9

I spent most of today working on it. I have to say. The part I hate the most is getting used to it. Working on a project of this scale requires a lot of patience and quality. The first moments are kind of tough at first, but then a habit forms and more progress gets made.

It isn't much of spoilers, but at least progress is being made. Um, forget about a Saturday release at this rate. A Sunday or even Monday release seems more realistic now. I have 12 scenes recorded so far, about 3 minutes done and about 10% completed. That's too bad. But maybe once the habit forms again, speed should increase. Besides, I get to use contest Navi attacks.

The Megaman Star Force 3 page on Capcom's website updated today revealing 2 white cards. Of course, this isn't everything they updated with. Try changing the url to go to the file "wc-01.pdf" They've got all the white cards up already!

New Crisis Ep9 Update


I have finished the tedious process of rom editing already. While editing, I did manage to make a few more changes. This picture shows the custom screen changes. First, I'm coloring standard chips yellow like in MMSF. Since folder views won't be necessary, that is all I need. Mega chips are a deeper blue and Giga chips are a deeper red (instead of pink)
Also, I added a dot on blank spaces. I know, I copied this from someone else's patch. Mine is just a dot, the other is a double box with brighter colors. I like mine.
And finally, the name tag sprite is changed. Instead of a boring slope I added more flair to it. It seems for the better to me. And just a heads up, these changes will go in my next patch update. I released a work-in-progress version in one of my Sub Guides.

Speaking of sub guides, I'm making a new guide. Using tints and shades. It seems like many people who use them don't know how to use them right and it's about time it got its own proper tutorial.

School's out!

Today was the last day of school for me. I'm done with 11th grade now! There are graduation events going on, but I'm not interested. Now that school is over, summer break begins. What that means to you is that I can start working more on hacking-related stuff. I plan on releasing Episode 9 of The New Crisis by Saturday.

DTV Transition - Wooh!

It finally happened. Some analog channels disappeared and some digital channels moved. It's all good so far. The rest of the channels will go out by the end of today. Channel 2's analog has turned into a service channel for now, in both common languages. I wonder if there will be more channels tomorrow?

Also happening today, I finished my last project for my Multimedia class. I only have a PSD, so take a look at it.

Avatar Generator Video Demonstration

Star Force Emblem

My latest vector work is well-made rendition of the beveled 3D-looking Mega Man Star Force emblem.

It looks very close to the original, plus this one should be mathematically accurate. You won't find this emblem anywhere else on the Internet, let alone with a transparent background. The size is okay for almost anything needed. But in case you need a larger size or want to see the SVG file for yourself, I've made it available.

Suicidal fish

I stumbled upon quite a phenomenon yesterday. See, I have goldfish in a fish tank. Typical. However, yesterday I was told that a fish jumped out of the tank. Jumped? I have no idea how or why it did that. I found it dying outside the tank. Luckily I could still save it. Upon closer inspection of the tank, I found another suicidal fish only this time it was dead. Judging by the dryness of its eyes, I'd say it had been dead for a couple of hours. I sooo felt like a CSI right there (i've been watching the CSI series recently)

Anyways, today is the first of June! I've been looking forward to this. End of school year. DTV Transition. Megaman Star Force 3. And Transformers 2.
