Magma Dragon vector art

I'm getting better at vector drawing and I finally made something a little more complex. Here is Megaman Battle Network 2's Magma Dragon virus.



It exceeds the quality of the original concept art sketch. Now what else should I do?

Megaman Star Force 3 updates

Apparently Capcom's Satellite Server updated. The most unusual thing about it is that on the character profile page, they refer to Mega Man as "Shooting Star Rockman". Strange...

Also I added a countdown on the right panel. From this post, it's about 30 days away. So close! I'm sure a Nintendo Channel Demo will come out soon and maybe even a real game trailer.

Project 1 of 4 finished

For school, I have to make 4 projects. I chose one in Adobe Illustrator, one in InDesign, and two in Photoshop.

Here is my finished project for Illustrator, the Mettenna Project.

Gridman gets a mugshot

Remember the BN5 fan-made Navi that Mr. Famous had? He never had any sprites outside battle. Plus he never had a mugshot. His concept art has a good angle to make one out of so I traced it, colored it and made it usable.

Here it is!


Also, I could make a mugshot out of that. It is even fit for use in Megaman Star Force if you make the background color any color within the sprite or use a 17th color cheat.

I've really enjoyed vector art recently. And the best part is that good-quality images are available to everyone because of me.

Hare Jet SVG

I'm getting more interested in vector art. It's also for school. For practice, I decided to make a vectorized version of the Hare Jet (snow bunny) EM virus from Megaman Star Force 2.

I might do more for practice. The one I'm doing for school will be the Mettena virus.

The best icon maker

The other day, I was looking for a good, free icon maker. I came across a program called IcoFX. It's really simple to use and makes great icons easily. I've already made lots of icons topping the quality of previous icon-makers. And best of all, it's FREE!

Swine flu

Gee, this flu is getting close. Some nearby schools got closed because of it. For me, testing was suspended for two days. But it seems like nothing serious. I still want to see how far this flu will go.
